About Couture Care

Couture Care turns existing garments into pieces that fit new needs, new styles, and longer use. Every project begins with a careful review of the fabric, construction, and desired result.

Garments remade with purpose

We work on alterations, redesigns, and upcycling projects for clients who want to keep wearing what already has value. That may mean updating the fit, reshaping a dress or skirt, or reworking a shirt or jacket into something more current.

Before any quote is confirmed, we assess the garment and discuss what is realistically possible from the available material. If a concept needs extra materials, those are quoted separately and approved before work begins.

Why people come to us

What guides our work

Our work is shaped by practical review, honest guidance, and careful finishing. The goal is to make each garment more wearable while keeping its story intact.

1A

Clear assessment

We review the garment before any final quote is given, so the proposed work reflects its actual condition, structure, and fit limitations.

2A

Respect for the original

When possible, we match original thread and trim to preserve the garment's character, while being honest about what can and cannot be sourced.

3A

Thoughtful reuse

Our remodelling approach reuses strong parts of the existing garment and keeps the concept tied to the material that is already there.

4A

Made for meaningful pieces

We work with customers who bring sentimental, vintage, or sustainability-focused pieces and want them updated with care and realism.

Our story

How our workshop works

Our process is built around inspection, design approval, and careful remodelling. That keeps each project grounded in the garment you bring in and the result it can realistically support.

2017

A better way to keep garments in use

Couture Care began with a simple idea: well-made garments deserve a second life when their style or fit no longer serves the wearer.

Design review

Planning based on the garment itself

Each project is reviewed for fabric condition, seam allowance, and construction so the redesign can be planned with clear expectations.

Final collection

Finish with clarity

From consultation to collection, the work stays focused on practical results, careful finishing, and designs that respect the original garment.
